UV-03
Ultraviolet flame detector
The UV-03 ultraviolet flame detector detects arcs and fires with open flame. It responds to the UV-C radiation mainly contained in the flame borders, in the range from 185 to 235 nm, and is perfectly suited for open flames without smoke development.
The sensor does not respond to sunlight, light bulbs, fluorescent lights or flying sparks. False tripping is possible, however, with UV radiating light sources.
Included in this are, for example, halogen and mercury vapor lamps, lightning, arc during welding work and reflections of the above radiation sources. In addition, smoke, dust and water vapor, as well as contamination of the UV pane, absorb the ultraviolet radiation and therefore negatively effect the response behavior of the sensor.

The infrared spark detector detects sparks and flames in closed systems, such as absolutely dark system parts with very little extraneous light incidence.
IR/UV-COMBI-FLAME DETECTOR
The IR/UV combination flame detector detects fires with an open flame involving carbon. This is well suited for open flames without smoke development.
