UV-03.1
UV flame detector
The UV-03.1 ultraviolet flame detector detects arcs and fires with open flames.
It responds to the UV-C radiation in the range of 185 – 260 nm that is mainly contained in the edges of the flames and is perfect for open flames without smoke development.
The detector does not respond to sunlight, incandescent lamps, fluorescent tubes or flying sparks.
Incorrect triggering is possible with light sources that emit UV radiation.
These include halogen and mercury vapor lamps, lightning, arcs during welding work and the reflections from these radiation sources.
In addition, smoke, dust and water vapor as well as dirt on the UV pane absorb the ultraviolet radiation and impair the response of the detector.
The detector is equipped with a nano-coated special filter glass that has excellent oleophobic and hydrophobic properties. Dust and dirt also have a hard time settling on the viewing pane, which means that air purging is not necessary in many applications.

Integrated potential-free relay contact (photo MOS relay, 30VDC / 0.5A) for “alarm”,
Equipped with special glass that has excellent oil and dirt-repellent properties, so that air purging is often not necessary.
The UV-03.1 is optionally available with a test circuit UV-03.1.TE, please specify when ordering.
By applying 24VDC, a UV test lamp is switched on and the detector including the sensor is tested.
