3. Collection and storage of personal data

Nature and purpose of their use:

a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.brandtronik.de, the browsers used on your terminal device automatically send information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in what is known as a log file. The following information will be collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • IP-Adresse of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website from which access is gained (Referrer-URL)
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The data mentioned will be processed by us for the following purposes: Ensuring a smooth connection to the website, ensuring comfortable use of our website, evaluation of system security and stability and for other administrative purposes. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence. 1 Item f GDPR. Our justified interest follows from the purposes listed above for the collection of data.

The data is collected anonymously. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. We also use cookies when you visit our website. You will find more detailed explanations under points 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.

b) When using our contact forms

For inquiries, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using the forms provided on the website. In order for us to know who sent the request and to be able to answer it, we require a valid e-mail address. Further information can be provided voluntarily. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 Item a GDPR on the basis of your voluntary consent. The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after the completion of your request.

5. Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your terminal device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

At present, we do not use any analysis or tracking tools. However, we do not rule out the use of this technology in the future and will inform you here immediately.

7.Google Maps and Google Web Fonts

This page uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. In order to display the map view, web fonts provided by Google are used. You shall have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.

In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right of rectification, deletion, limitation of processing or opposition, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data, unless it has been collected from us, and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details.

Under Art. 16 GDPR you shall have the right to demand the rectification of incorrect data or the completion of your personal data stored by us immediately.

Under Art. 17 GDPR you can request the deletion of your personal data stored by us.

Under Art. 18 GDPR, you shall have the right to request that your personal data be restricted for processing if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you and the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or you have lodged an objection to the processing under Art. 21 GDPR;

Under Art. 20 GDPR, you shall have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format.

You have the right, pursuant to Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. The consequence of this is that we may not continue the data processing based on this consent for the future, and

Under Art. 77 GDPR you shall have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority.

9. Right to object

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 Item f GDPR, you shall have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR if there are reasons for doing so which arise from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you will have a general right of objection, which will be implemented by us without any indication of a particular situation.

10. Data security

We use the most common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed representation of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser. We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
