UE-04
Two-zone quick closing gate valve and HRD extinguishing system control unit
The UE-04 alarm and control center is used to control both explosion isolation devices and explosion suppression systems.
In the former, quick-closing valves in the pipelines prevent explosions from spreading.
In the latter, the immediate use of extinguishing agents suppresses explosions before they even start.
Both protective devices are controlled via the trigger lines.
UE-04 has two monitored “alarm signaling lines” that can be switched in two-line dependency to activate the two trigger lines, as well as a third, also monitored “fault signaling line” for equipment monitoring.
The device is compatible with all BRANDTRONIK detectors and a large number of third-party products in two- and four-wire technology.
It has a total of nine unmonitored relay outputs (one potential-free changeover contact 30V / 1A each) for fault, pre-alarm, alarm, triggering slide 1, triggering slide 2, feedback slide 1 open, feedback slide 1 closed, feedback slide 2 open and feedback slide 2 closed and two monitored outputs for triggering (triggering slide 1 and triggering slide 2) as well as four monitored outputs for the slide control (slider 1 “open”, slide 1 “closed”, slide 2 “open” and slide 2 “closed”)
There is also an earth fault monitoring function for asymmetrical earth faults.
In addition to the controls for the quick-closing slides, there is also an LED status display on the front panel.
