Two-zone quick closing gate valve and HRD extinguishing system control unit
The UE-04 signaling and central control unit is used for activating both explosion-related decoupling systems and explosion suppression systems. In the former, the quick-closing gate valves in the pipelines prevent the spread of explosions. In the latter, the immediate use extinguisher suppresses the explosions even as they start. Both protection devices are controlled via the release circuits. The UE-04 has two monitored signaling lines that can be switched in two-line dependency for activation of both release lines and one for the monitoring circuit.
The device is compatible in either two- or four-wire technology with all Brandtronik sensors and with a large number of third-party manufacturers. It has relay outputs for malfunction, pre-alarm, alarm and two monitored outputs for release. For asymmetrical ground faults there is also ground fault monitoring. Along with the control elements for the quick closing gate valves there is also an LED status display on the front plate.
