IR-11.1.ex Zone21 / IR-13.1.ex Zone21
Infrared spark sensor
The IR-11.1 ex Zone 21 infrared spark sensors (1-arm optical fiber) also with CSA certificate and IR-13.1 ex Zone 21 (3-arm optical fiber) detect sparks
and flames in closed, potentially explosive systems. The maximum of its spectral sensitivity is at about 830 nm. The devices are well suited for sparks and flames with temperatures > 800°C. They are designed for installation in parts of the system where it is completely dark and where no extraneous light is expected. Daylight contains infrared portions which the devices will respond to and thus can cause false tripping to occur.
Applications for IR-31.1ex and IR-33.1ex are, for example, in electronic spark extinguishing equipment with monitoring units for early detection of fire or explosions. Also everywhere that flammable or smoldering materials are transported mechanically or pneumatically and a risk of fire or explosion exists.
The sensors have relay outputs for malfunction and alarm and internal
monitoring of the operating voltage.

FALME DETECTOR
Ultraviolet flame detectors detect both open flame and arc fires and are particularly suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
IR-
FALME DETECTOR
The infrared flame detector detects open flames and fires of both organic and inorganic materials and is well suited to flame detection.
UV-
SPARK DETECTOR
The infrared spark detector detects sparks and flames in closed systems, such as absolutely dark system parts with very little extraneous light incidence.
IR/UV-COMBI-FLAME DETECTOR
The IR/UV combination flame detector detects fires with an open flame involving carbon. This is well suited for open flames without smoke development.
