IR-04
Infrared flame detector
with visibility monitoring
The IR-04 infrared flame sensor detects open flames and fires as well as organic and inorganic materials and is well suited for detecting flames with a temperature > 800°C. The maximum of its spectral sensitivity is at about 950 nm. ATEX-certified, the device is suitable for monitoring of objects especially at risk for fire and potentially explosive objects.
Included in this are especially painting cabins, powder spray cabins, hardening units, spark-eroding machines, mechanical machining centers and dust extraction systems in which high dust concentrations are expected and which require visibility monitoring of the flame detector. By setting various fire levels, the IR-04 can be adapted to different ambient radiation (brightness, illumination). The device has a potential-free relay output for malfunction and alarm and internal monitoring of the operating voltage.
