Infrared flame detector
with visibility monitoring

The IR-04 infrared flame detector with visibility monitoring detects open flames and fires in both organic and inorganic materials and is well suited for detecting flames with a temperature > 800°C.
The maximum of its spectral sensitivity is around 950 nm.
The ATEX-certified device (II 2D Ex tb IIIC T90° Db IP65 X -20 =< ta =< +70°C, Zone 21) is suitable for monitoring objects that are particularly at risk of fire and explosion.

Such as paint booths, powder spray booths, hardening plants, spark erosion machines, mechanical processing centers and dust extraction systems in which high levels of dust are to be expected and where visibility monitoring of the flame detectors is required.

The detector can be adapted to different ambient radiation (brightness, lighting) by setting different fire levels.
