FU-01
Single range spark
extinguishing system control
The FU-01 single-zone spark extinguishing control is used to control and monitor single-zone spark extinguishing systems to protect machines, pipelines, painting and powder coating booths.
The equipment includes two monitored reporting lines: one for the spark detectors, the other for equipment monitoring.
The device also has two monitored outputs for warning and extinguishing as well as unmonitored relay outputs for fault, alarm and production plant shutdown.
The detection of further sparks results in an automatic extension of the extinguishing time by a previously set period of time.
If an overflow occurs, the production system is switched off and an alarm is triggered.
DIP switches enable configuration for a wide range of applications.
In addition to the operating elements, there is also an LED status display on the front panel

special features
– Switchable time limit of 210 s for the warning.
– Internal and external option to switch off the extinguishing trigger.
– A test button for triggering can be integrated into the front panel if required.
– Functions such as alarm, warning and production shutdown are possible by setting the bridges using DIP switches.
– After each extinguishing, the control panel is immediately ready for another extinguishing; during an active extinguishing, a new spark extends the extinguishing time by the set time.
– Integrated adjustable spark counter, in the event of an overflow -> alarm and shutdown of the system.
– External connection for switching off the system.
– Delay in the fault message in the event of a power failure approx. 12s.
– Delay in the fault message in the event of a battery failure approx. 100s.
– Status display of the control panel via LED on the front panel.
– Control elements on the front panel:

Attention!!
If an alarm is triggered and the production plant is shut down, the cause must be investigated.

The infrared spark detector detects sparks and flames in closed systems, such as absolutely dark system parts with very little extraneous light incidence.
IR/UV-COMBI-FLAME DETECTOR
The IR/UV combination flame detector detects fires with an open flame involving carbon. This is well suited for open flames without smoke development.
